Contador has a sad
Completely random non-specific stage race with the whole Saxo team gathered waiting for that day’s stage to start. Suddenly, news started to filter through that Saxo Bank had withdrawn their sponsorship immediately and the tv cameras all focussed on Alberto Contador and his big sad crying eyes. He had taken his helmet off and was leaning forward on his bike with big wet bambi eyes such was his sadness.
I couldn’t work out where the news had come from or if it was true. I also did not find out whether they started the stage or not.
I did not see Bjarne.
