In my dream I was walking down the street and Dani King rode past on a training ride. I had to stop and point out to my brother - ‘Look, there’s Dani King.’
Dreamt I went on super-serious women’s bike training camp. There was lots of turbo-ing. I complained about this a lot. I was also really pathetically bad. In the end they gave up on me and let me work behind the bar with Michael Hutchinson instead, which was much more like it as we spent most of the time laughing.
Turbo = Acid
I rode on the turbo at about 7pm and then went to bed at 10pm. Then I started to dream. I think all that effort brings on better dreams.
Lizzie Armitstead came along and told me she caught me staring at her while she was signing autographs. I said sorry but I was tired and it was day dreaming but it looked like I was staring at her. She told me that stars like her can spot ‘stare-rs’ because they have official training by British Cycling as often people that stare at you all day long tend to want to attack you later.
I dreamt that Andy Schleck came to my hotel to train for the Vuelta a Espana and we hung out a bit and he asked me to train with him! Best - dream - ever.
I was supposed to be going for a training ride with Frank and Andy. We were sitting around drinking pre-ride tea. Some kind of weird Euro tea, like fennel or something. I was getting nervous.
